The blockchain industry faces critical challenges in energy accountability:
Ethereum consumes approximately 600 Wh per validator. X1 EcoChain uses only 3 Wh — a 99.5% reduction. Yet there is no standardized system to quantify, verify, and reward this difference.
GreenPulse addresses these challenges through four integrated components:
A live monitoring interface that tracks every validator's energy consumption, comparing it against other blockchain networks (Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche). Data is collected via DePIN sensor integration and stored on-chain through the GreenScoreOracle contract.
A composite scoring algorithm (0-100) that rates each validator on energy efficiency, uptime, carbon savings, and network contribution. Higher scores unlock better rewards and carbon credit minting privileges.
Verified energy savings are converted into ERC-721 Carbon Credit NFTs that can be traded on the marketplace. Each NFT represents a quantified amount of CO₂ offset, verified by authorized on-chain verifiers.
